The Twinsburg Charismatic Prayer Group will meet from now on the first and third Sundays of the month at 7 pm .
I got a call from our friend and sister Erin Reins last night who needs our prayer and support who is going to have major surgery this Thursday Feb 6 2025/ . Please keep her in prayer .
At our prayer meeting last night I had a word about Intercessory prayer . I thought maybe we should do some praying for our country or church .I stated that I had been part of a prayer team called the Healing Rooms , and the most answered prayers i was told were intercessory prayer ,where people had phoned in, or emailed or texted their prayers .

What then resulted at our prayer group last night was many witnesses of how God had answered very serious prayers . Friends who were threatening suicide , finding their way to the Blessed Sacrament and Mass , or stubborn family members who were against the Faith becoming Catholic .
It seemed to us that the Holy Spirit was encouraging us to keep going with those prayers for others . I then thought of those shut ins who feel powerless to affect people’s lives or those countless parents who pray for their children well being .
The Heavenly Father can do anything but he chooses usually to use people to be part of his work , his hands and feet or in this case his prayer warriors .
While vacationing in St Augustine a couple years ago I felt inspired to write a song about St Monica . St Monica never stopped praying for her wayward son St Augustine , and look at the results and fruit that came from those intercessory prayers . Let’s be encouraged to keep praying for others especially trying to follow those promptings in our hearts that the Holy Spirit inspires .
